Meet Dr. Sonia Durairaj — Redefining Primary Care
Led by Dr. Sonia Durairaj, our practice offers personalized, evidence-based care for adults of all genders, with a special focus on women’s health during midlife.
Meet Dr. Sonia Durairaj
After more than 20 years in traditional healthcare settings, Dr. Sonia Durairaj saw how rushed visits, long waits, and check-the-box medicine left patients feeling unseen and underserved. She founded her practice to offer something better—personalized, unhurried care built on trust, connection, and real relationships.
As a board-certified internal medicine physician and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, Dr. Durairaj combines clinical expertise with a proactive approach to prevention, education, and long-term wellness.
Thoughtful, Evidence-Based Care
Dr. Durairaj is a board-certified internist who provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for adults of all ages and genders. Her background includes decades of experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, allowing her to manage a wide range of health concerns—from preventive care and chronic condition management to complex diagnostic workups.
She is deeply committed to building lasting relationships with her patients, offering thoughtful, unhurried care that supports long-term wellness and whole-person health.
A Life Rooted in Service
Raised in Ohio by a physician father and a nutritionist mother, Dr. Durairaj felt called to medicine early on. She earned her B.S. in Neuroscience from Oberlin College, her medical degree from Wright State University, and completed her residency at the University of Colorado. She continues to serve as affiliate faculty at UT Austin’s Dell Medical School.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Durairaj is a wife, mother, and lifelong learner who loves reading, playing guitar, traveling, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
